Rambulan sa Puerto Part II
on April 17, 2017, the press conference for the Underground Battle Mixed Martial Arts (UGB-MMA) Rambulan sa Puerto event was held at Nirvana Resort, Barangay Poblacion, Puerto Galera.
Ferdie A. Munsayac, Founder and CEO of the UGB-MMA thanked the participants, the sposor and the LGU, especially Mayor RDI for the support of the LGU to make this, for Mindoro first MMA Fight Event ever happen. “We will come back next year, with an even bigger Event, maybe with the fight for a belt” so Munsayac during the presscon.
On April 28 and 29, 2017, the Rambulan sa Galera will held at White Beach, Barangay San Isidro.
“It is very important, that we create more Tourism, and events for the local community, and we like to promote White Beach more and more, as White Beach has only a very short season, it is important for the business owners and people who make their livelihood on White Beach that we support and promote the place. The Municipality of Puerto Galera is committed to do so. This is only the beginning, an test event if you will call it that way. Expect more and better, and bigger events to come to Puerto Galera in the future. We have so much more to offer than other tourism destinations in the country”, so the Mayor.
Mayor RDI urged the public to support the event, “It is not only for our tourism industry an milestone to have the UGB-MMA coming to Galera, but it is a great possibility to give another perspective to our youth, especially the young generation who was caught up in drug problems in the past” Ilagan said and announced to personally donate 200 tickets to some of our more than 1200 drug surrenders in Puerto Galera. “Let’s make it a great event for everyone!”
Ferdie A. Munsayac also announced that traditional filipino martial art will be showcased at the Rambulan sa Galera. There will be weaponized cage fighting for the first time.
Tickets for the Rambulan sa Galera are still available at all EUF Agents, at Lenlies bar in White Beach, at Cocolips Bar and Octopus Divers in Sabang. Interested parties can also contact the Fortnightly Office under 043-2873101 to order their tickets.
