Accomplishment on Anti-Illegal Drugs Operation

Puerto Galera Police Officers Arrested two personalities including a minor in an Anti-Illegal Drug Operations conducted by this MPS.
PUERTO GALERA MUNICIPAL POLICE STATION – Two personalities including a minor were arrested for Violation of Section 5, 11 and 12, Art. II of RA 9165 in an anti-illegal drugs buy-bust operation conducted by personnel of this Office led by PCINSP LAWRENCE V PANGANIBAN, Officer In-Charge on the past two days. The suspects were identified as Eddie Doria Mang, 51 years old, married, jobless and resident of Brgy. Bagong Silang, Caloocan City and Kayla Baral Roa, 17 years old (minor) , single and resident of Brgy. Poblacion, this municipality.

As a resultof the initial investigation at about 9:00 AM of April 10, 2017 this Station received an information from a confidential informant that a certain Eddie Doria Mang and his cohorts were selling suspected illegal drugs (shabu) in Brgy. Poblacion and nearby barangays of this municipality. After the conducted briefing to the operating team for the possible operation, personnel of this Office coordinated with the PDEA-4B for the said purpose using two (2) pieces of marked/blottered Five Hundred Peso Bill against subject persons. The operating team proceeded to the location of the said illegal activity together with the poseur buyer and after establishing the operation plan, they initiated the negotiation and transaction between the target suspects and the poseur buyer that resulted to the apprehension of the said suspects who were caught in the act of selling one (1) heat sealed transparent plastic sachet believed to be containing methamphetamine hydrochloride also known as “shabu”, in exchanged to the two (2) five hundred peso bill used as marked money .
Upon searched incidental to a lawful arrest, confiscated from the possession and control of Eddie Mang and Kayla Roa were the following:
 One (1) piece of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected as Methamphetamine Hydrochloride also known as “shabu”
 Three (3) piece of unsealed transparent plastic sachet containing residue of white crystalline substance, suspected as Methamphetamine Hydrochloride also known as “shabu”
 Three (3) pcs rolled strips of aluminum foil containing residue of white crystalline substance suspected to be Methamphetamine Hydrochloride also known as “shabu”
 One (1) piece wooden pipe
 Two (2) pieces genuine five hundred peso bill (Php500) blottered money;

The Inventory and markings of pieces of evidence was done in the Puerto Galera Municipal Police Station due to the commotion and tension brought about by the operation and was witnessed by Brgy.official of Brgy. Poblacion this municipality.
