It was March 29th, 2017 when the President of the Philippines, Rodrigo Duterte visited Oriental Mindoro. He arrived in Socorro around 4.20pm and held a speech for 45 minutes. Everyone in the crowds was waiting to see and hear the president while he was joining the People’s Day Celebration at Barangay Batong Dalig.
