Mayor Rocky Ilagan and Vice Mayor Marlon Lopez are contemplating on closing the road to Sabang to speed-up the ongoing construction and rehabilitation project. Phase one which is 2-kilometers from Poblacion to Palangan is expected to be completed by the end of September and took more than 15 months. On the other hand, phase 2 which is 4 kilometers from Palangan to Sabang and some portion in Sinandigan started March of this year and a source said is probably only 15 percent done.
