Untrue tsismis in PG

The Fortnightly Journal get called many times. Concerned citizen report something, others simply ask if certain stories they have heard are true.

In some instances, we are very concerned about rumors.. Well rumors has it, children been kidnapped last week, right in front of the central school in town proper of Puerto Galera. One woman told us, that story has got to be true as even the Principal of the School, Mr. Rich Belen was seen, talking to parents to watch over their kids..

Now – that’s all nothing but Bollux folks. I called the Chief of Police regarding this and other rumors, and guess what? Right – all Bollux, no child has been reported missing in Puerto Galera.

Also, another report reached us regarding a murder case, committed by some mysterious tourists on a bar girl from Sabang turned out to be nothing but thin air. At least this rumor was done well enough for the PNP to conduct a serious investigation in Red Sun Dive-Resort to find out whats going on there…

By the way folks – also the story about an Ambush on a armored vehicle in San Teodoro last Thursday turned out to be untrue..  There was no such thing, the PNP check points in Oriental Mindoro where nothing but routine, planned and executed as always.
